What a node is, and is not

A node is a relationship held in a city — a set of people, institutions, and working knowledge the house can call on.

A space is a property the house owns and operates. Nujonu in Cotonou is a space. Cotonou is also a node. The two are not interchangeable, and conflating them is how creative houses overstate their footprint.
